The challenges and opportunities of young entrepreneurs in designing and developing a business idea were the focus at the “Be a Game Changer” online event organised by Innovade LI and the British Council Cyprus on July 29, 2021. The event was an opportunity for Innovade LI to present the Game-Changer project and its deliverables, notably the Compendium of WebQuests In-service training, which were developed by the project consortium to promote entrepreneurial education and social entrepreneurship activities among the youth.

The event also featured an open discussion on skills young people need to build entrepreneurial and other critical transversal skill sets essential for personal fulfilment, with the participation of four distinguished guests with vast experience in training youth, start-up consultation, and the development of entrepreneurial skills:

  • Michael Tyrimos – Executive Manager at Capacitor Partners
  • Maria Nomikou – Youth Skills and Inclusive Communities Sector Lead Europe, British Council
  • Andreas Georgiou – Manager, Innovade LI
  • Andrea Solomonides – Giraffes in the Kitchen

The discussion was coordinated by Andrie Daniel, Journalist and Editor-in-Chief in Phileleftheros Media Group.
