Lancaster and Morecambe College implemented the piloting phase of the Game-Changer project in July 2021. Due to Covid-19-related restrictions, the piloting was completed virtually over the course of three days.

The participants were a selection of local youth workers and representatives of youth education organisations. Both the compendium of WebQuest Challenges and the In-service Training Programme were piloted with the participants in the form of virtual training sessions.

Upon completion of the piloting, LMC conducted a debriefing and participant feedback session to gather constructive feedback and analysis of the Game-Changer resources. The feedback provided by the participants throughout the piloting and during the final debriefing session was overwhelmingly positive and there were very few issues identified within the resources. This feedback was recorded and used inform the consortium of the quality and effectiveness of the developed resources on the key target groups.
